William Plat is known for his long-standing position as Principal Percussionist of the Cincinnati Symphony and Cincinnati Pops, where he performed on several tours of the US, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, and Europe. He has appeared in over 100 recordings, many as a featured soloist. His signature snare drum applied Bell Brass shell for the versatility of a wide sonic range. This model not only retains bell brass' unique sound characteristics but also offers incredible sensitivity and control by the Bravura Multi Snare Frame system, which provides wide adjustability and practical tuning range of the drums, giving players full control over articulation, dynamics, and response.
